Our VSD Power Saver product ensures that the minimum level of electrical power is consumed when operating a centre pivot. A pressure monitor is installed on the last tower which communicates with the VSD at the pump station to maintain a constant pressure level on the last tower. A second pressure monitor is installed at the centre to ensure that the pressure does not fall below a pre-set level when the system is operating on downward slope and gravity automatically increases pressure at the last tower.
